Gabriel Heinze wants to stay at Real Madrid.
With the new President set to take over soon, Heinze has reassured fans that he only wants to be playing at the Bernabeu next season.
"Whatever is said in the press is not true 99 per cent of the time, I know what goes on. I have a year left on my contract and I am happy. The people who come in with the new project will put their view forward, and I mine, then we will sort it out as adults. I would like to stay" he told Spanish newspaper AS.
"Madrid have to win games, even though Osasuna are playing for more. We have a very professional dressing room and we cannot talk about what else goes on, aside from the result. We will not be going out there walking. We must respect the fact that they are playing for something. Wearing this shirt means you have responsibility," he declared.
Gaby Heinze has called for his team-mates to concentrate on their next match, and no the up-and-coming 'Clasico' with Barcelona in a few weeks time.
Gaby told the official website: "We have to win all matches up until the Barcelona game, which is the crucial point as it enables us to cut the gap directly. We cannot rely on Barcelona not winning their matches.
"It is our duty to do what we do, which is winning. We just have to win and win, and expect them to lose points," he said. "This is the only work that remains until the end of the season."
